What light through yonder crack doth please

Reviewing some photos taken at one of the old houses explored in recent months, I felt this was certainly worth posting. Here sharp rays of light pierce through cracks in the now-shingleless roof and plasterless ceiling, casting an interesting image on the dark features of what was once a beautiful mural-covered wall. No one living in the home 70 or so years ago could have imagined someone finding beauty in what would become natural decay in the eventually abandoned structure.
